Hot Lentil Dip
Servings: 4 servings
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ chopped onion
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 cup dry lentils
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 chopped celery stalks
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 2 cups of hot water
Instructions
- Sauté onion and garlic.
- Add the lentils and stir.
- Add the tomato paste, celery stalks, salt, pepper, turmeric, and stir.
- Add the hot water and stir.
- Close lid and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Stir and simmer for 5 more minutes until most of the water has evaporated.
- Enjoy with your favorite chips!
